Family & Business Grants Program
The NGSFRC Family Grants Program was created to provide financial assistance to members of the New Jersey Army and Air National Guard whose immediate families experience financial hardships during the service members’ period of deployment and up to eighteen months following the service members’ demobilization (TIER 1).

Also eligible are Soldiers and Airmen who were on State Active Duty or Missions in excess of twenty days (TIER II). TIER 1 applicants will be given priority over TIER II applicants.

Troop Support
In addition to the grant program, the Council also provides significant financial support to the extended network of Family Readiness Groups throughout the state as well as various “Support the Troops” functions, Welcome Home ceremonies and numerous other related activities.
